Debbie G. Reynolds, a San Francisco native, handles all banking and financial aspects of the company. After graduating from of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in International Relations, Debbie followed her interests in commercial real estate, where she built a successful career as a retail leasing and sales agent. She then chose to leave the workforce in 1995 to have her two children. Debbie named the company Healthy Handfuls, handles the public relations demands inherent in being a company founder, interfaces with national charities and special events, all while working with her sister to develop new business for the company.
Gwen G. Solberg is Debbie's sister and also a native San Franciscan. Born with a severe peanut allergy, Gwen is deeply concerned about nutrition and is our driving force in new product development. Gwen earned her BA from the USC Annenberg School of Communication and like her sister, worked long hours in real estate, spending several years in New York City. There she met her husband, then moved to Chicago, where they live now with their two children. As a founder, Gwen uses her communication skills to develop high-profile alternative channels of distribution with airlines, theaters, hotel resorts, museums and summer programs.
Dwight Sinclair is responsible for all sales and marketing functions, as well as managing retail chain accounts, distributors and brokers. Mr. Sinclair's experience in the natural foods industry spans fifteen years and includes work with such industry heavy weights as Cliff Bar and Garden Burger. From 1995-1999 Mr. Sinclar concentrated his efforts on building Oregon Chai, acting as an investor, board member and National Sales Manager. Mr. Sinclair is also a founder of SG Naturals, an investment group that assists companies in the development and launch of new products. Prior to SG Naturals, Mr. Sinclair excelled in various sales management positions with the Nestlé’s Corporation and International Business Machines.
David G. Curtis oversees all design research and creative activity. With over twenty years of brand consulting experience, Mr. Curtis has managed billion-dollar brands for ConAgra Foods, Seagrams Americas, Frito-Lay, Ralston-Purina, Kraft/General Foods, Pillsbury, Miller Brewing Co., Anheuser-Busch, Beringer-Blass Estates, Planter’s, Quaker Oats and the San Francisco Giants. Nationally recognized, Mr.Curtis has received hundreds of design awards during his career, including a Clio for his work with Ghirardelli Chocolate and 3 AIGA Brand Design 50 awards. Curtis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Art & Design from California Polytechnic State University, where he currently serves on the Advisory Board.
